So it rained during classes, which I missed, to take some photographs.

My first thought on seeing the shot was, what could be the reason for the choice of a vertical framing when the horizontal version seems to fit soo well? Then I thought about the rains and the hardships it brings on to Mumbai which is portrayed well with the uphill ride the cyclist is taking. Again it also shows the way mumbaikars are so used to the hardships in the way the cyclist is riding tension free, what with a umbrella to balance, in addition to the cycle! The white diving lines again seems to only add in that direction..
Having said that, I wonder what position you yourself were in while shooting the shot.. was it possible for you to have gotten a better perspective..
Its a whole different story had it been horizon..
